| Instruments Played: Years ago-I was an aspiring Drummer/Singer until someone told me I was a better Singer than I was a Drummer...Sold my drums and bought a microphone, now I play the crowd. Hometown: Wolcottville, Indiana Years Performing: I've seen pictures of me as a toddler on a porch swing with my Mom and Grandmother. Mom said I was serenading them then. So...as long as I can remember, I guess. Why did you start playing? Don't know for sure. Maybe it had something to do with being born in Detroit, Michigan: The home of Rock-N-Roll or Maybe not! Equipment: Shure UT-4A UHF Diversity Wireless Handheld Beta 58a Microphone Operating Frequency: 617.100 MHZ. One Microphone stand, (Tripod) W/Clip. Major Influences: Ozzy Osbourne, Ronnie James Dio, Geoff Tate (QueensRyche), Vince Neil, Robert Plant, Steve Perry, David Lee Roth, Bon Scott, my Dad and his Barbershop Quartet (Long Live 4-part Harmonies!!) Favorite Bands: Black Sabbath, Dio, QueensRyche, Ozzy, Motley Crue, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Journey, Van Halen, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Angel, Godsmack, Guns N' Roses, Black Label Society & CODA! Musical Career Highlights: 18 years with various different bands. 1981 opened for Def Leppard at Follinger Theatre, Fort Wayne, IN. Jim Dandy and Black Oak Arkansas twice, Once in Huntington, West Virginia and once in Charleston, West Virginia. Charlie Brown and the Coasters in Toledo, Ohio and The Godz in Cincinnati, Ohio at Bogarts. Previous Bands: 100 Proof, Iced Earth, Banshee, Teazer (We toured 14 different states from Michigan to Florida), Addicted and Medieval Brooklyn. Most Embarrassing Show Moment: O'Conners, Warsaw, Indiana. New Years Eve 1992 or 1993. Well, maybe it was 1994...Hell, who knows! You see that's the thing about embarrassing moments, most people like to forget them, right? Well, anyway, the band was Addicted, New Years Eve, 2nd set about 20 minutes till 12. The song was "I Just Want to Make Love to You" by: Foghat. I loved that song and I use to jump up on the bar wherever we were at and I would walk down the bar teasing the women you know-kinda playing the crowd. I jumped on the O'Conners bar, I got down about 4 steps and WHAM! I found myself setting, almost laying down on the bar...drinks and ash trays flying around me. You see, O'Conners had something their bar nobody else did...a ceiling fan! I kept singing while the bouncer scooped me off the bar and into the bathroom where I looked in the mirror and blood was gushing from my forehead. I'm still singing the Foghat tune, the bouncer cleaning me up. I finished the show that night only to go to the hospital for 2 stitches afterwards and a terrible headache the day after. Probably not the most embarrassing moment but the one I remember the most. Favorite Quote: Attitude Check!! Thanks To: I would like to thank my Mom & Dad for the first drum set for which I sold dirt cheap to get the Shure 57 michrophone I bought.
