(A.K.A.-Hooterville) Years Playing: Since the 6th Grade-(a whole year) LOL! 32 years Why did you start playing? Because every Kid wants to play the drums. You can hold me personally responsible for some of them. Equipment: 6-piece DW (Brushed Magenta Specialty Lauqer) Drumset, with Zildjian-22" K-Heavy Ride,18"A.Med.Thin Crash, 18"Chinese Crash,16"A.Med.Crash,10"A.-Splash, Sabian-12"AA Splash, Paiste-18" Signature Series Crash, DW-5000 Double Pedal & Hi-Hat Stand, Boss-SP3-DR.Sampler. All mounted on a Gibraltar Cage. Major Influences: Peter Criss, Neal Peart, Tommy Lee, Tommy Aldraige, Jason & John Bonham, Kenny Arnof, Buddy Rich, Ringo Star, Nathaniel Tuttle, and every Drummer that I have given lessons to in the last 20 YEARS. Favorite Bands: Def Leppard, KISS, Led Zepplin, AC\DC, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Motley Crue, U2, System of A Down, Godsmack, Cheap Trick, Collective Soul, Brown Trucker Band, Savannah, Sirface, Tank Head, Blame It On Rio, & Corporate Circus. Musical Career Highlights: 17 plus years with CODA, Opening Shows for Quiet Riot, Gary Richrath (of Reo Speedwagon), Pat Travers (twice), Rick Derringer, & The Grass Roots at Warsaw Central Park Previous Bands: Last Chance, Felony, Midwest, Profile Most Embarassing Show Moment: We were playing at Skip's in Angola 1991. I was out front singing, Troy Fancil was on the Drums, Steve Sahagun & John Schenkel use to do this move where they would go back & forth across the stage together. Forward then backwards during Girls Got Rhythm. They were moving very fast(almost running)as they went past me going forward. I decided to go with them, but me going backwards. After about 2 steps I tripped on a monitor & fell on my butt. Before I had a chance to get up, they were on their way backwards & they both tripped & landed on me. (Painful??-YES) Have you seen Steve & John? They are big guys. We all just laid there & finished the song. During the next break some friends came up and told me how cool it was. (They thought we planned it.) Favorite Quote: "Shouldn't outta but probably would" & "Prove it". Thanks To: " I want to thank God for allowing me to do this my whole life so far.
